The reason why Pine Player continues to display in dark mode even though the Mac system is in light mode.

Pine Player is set to display only in dark mode by default.

If you want to use light mode, check the “Automatically set app scene mode according to system mode” setting in the settings screen as shown below.

The settings are reflected when the app is restarted, so if you close Pine Player and run it again, the light mode will be applied from then on.
