Pine Player Pro now fully supports multi-channel audio playback, including 5.1 to 7.1 channels!
You can now conveniently enjoy a wide variety of high-resolution multi-channel audio formats, including FLAC, WAV, AIFF, as well as DSD formats like DSF and DFF.

To play 5.1 channel or higher audio files, simply activate the Multi-Channel DAC Control Mode that has been newly added.
You can enable it easily from the DAC Control tab in the settings screen.

Before you begin playback, launch the macOS built-in Audio MIDI Setup app.
If you own a 6-channel or 8-channel DAC or audio interface, simply configure that device.
Don’t have one? No problem! You can create an Aggregate Device by combining multiple 2-channel audio devices into a virtual multi-channel output.

Once your multi-channel device is ready, click on the "Configure Speakers…" button.
Choose the 5.1 or 7.1 layout, and assign each speaker channel to the correct output.

After speaker mapping, make sure to set the device as your system's default output.
This is essential for Pine Player Pro to recognize and use multi-channel output properly.

Playing SACD ISO Files
Got a multi-channel SACD ISO?
Use Pine Player Pro’s Split Each Tracks feature to extract the tracks into DSF or DFF format.

Tip: Be sure to select the Multi Track option when splitting to preserve multi-channel audio.
